“Sheer magic. An evening to remember”

Influenced by jazz and soul, Victoria sings an aethereal fusion of atmospheric tunes on a deep landscape of colour and emotion. She is currently working on an immersive performance exploring transformation, voice and silence.

I create performances that play with vocal gesture, sound, ambience and atmosphere. I explore the shadows of the silence within us, and the depths of the silence around us. The aim is to create an invitation to feel; for the audience to leave the room having enjoyed the journey.

* for many of the d/Deaf community the interface of identity and communication is through Sign Language (British Sign Language here in the UK) and the word “Voice” is just another example of the hearing-centric world we live in. I use it here as I am also talking about the physical voice and switch interchangeably between the two, but wanted to acknowledge the difficulty of the word choice.
